Gene rescued on 03-18-2026

Gene is a striking,  dignified boy! He, too, was most likely hit, since he used to startle if we had a broom,  a poop scoop or anything in our hands. He's slowly warmed up and accepts petting.  He's a quiet boy who gets along with both males and females. He loves raw bones the best, but will gladly eat any kind of treat! 

Lucky Gene! He will be staying in Tennessee, together with his BFF, Phoenix.
