King rescued on 12-24-2012

 King is a 9 month old puppy that was turned over to NYC Animal Care and Control by his owner because "she couldn't afford the $10,000 x-rays".... Apparently she also could not afford to treat his cut foot (badly infected since it happened 2 weeks ago), or his torn cruciate. 

King is very friendly and sweet and very handsome - this is a very bad pictuure from the shelter - and will make a fantastic pet once we get him cleaned up and his leg repaired.  And here is a much better one the day after we pulled him from the shelter and after a bath.

Great news! King was adopted by one of the vets who has been treating him!!!
